Drop Site is a free hosting platform for single-file HTML apps. You own your content. We store it on your behalf. You're responsible for what you upload. We may remove content that violates these terms. The service is free and provided as-is — no uptime guarantees.
By creating an account or uploading content to Drop Site, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will update the "last updated" date above when changes are made.
Drop Site is a hosting platform for single-file .html files. You upload a file, get a shareable URL, and anyone can view it without an account.
The platform runs on Cloudflare infrastructure. Your files are stored in Cloudflare R2 and served via Cloudflare Pages and Workers. User data is stored in Supabase.
You must provide a valid email address and verify it before uploading. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent storage limits or rate limits is not permitted.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Drop Site.
You may not upload content that:
All uploads are scanned automatically. Content may also be reviewed by administrators following user reports.
Zero tolerance: CSAM, malware designed to harm users, and phishing pages will result in immediate permanent account termination and, where required by law, reporting to relevant authorities.
You retain full ownership of the content you upload. By uploading to Drop Site, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, serve, and display your content to users who access your app URL.
We do not claim ownership of your files. We do not sell your content to third parties.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and publicly share the content you submit.
Free accounts receive 50 MB of storage. This limit applies to the total size of all active apps in your account.
Uploaded apps expire after 90 days of no visits. Any visit to the app URL resets the expiry timer. Apps with zero visits for 90 consecutive days are automatically deleted.
You can delete your own apps at any time from the dashboard. Deleted apps are purged from storage within 7 days.
We reserve the right to adjust storage limits with reasonable notice. We will not reduce your limit below what you have already used without prior notice.
We may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts at our discretion for violations of these terms. We will attempt to notify you when we take action unless doing so would compromise a safety investigation.
If you believe content on Drop Site infringes your copyright, contact us at the address below with: a description of the copyrighted work, the URL of the infringing content, and your contact information.
Repeated infringement will result in account termination.
Drop Site is provided free of charge with no uptime guarantees. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
We may temporarily suspend service for maintenance. We will attempt to provide advance notice for planned downtime.
We reserve the right to discontinue the service entirely. In that event, we will provide at least 30 days notice and a way to export your content.
Drop Site is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or available at any particular time.
We are not responsible for content uploaded by users. Viewing user-uploaded apps is at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Drop Site and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or damages caused by user-uploaded content.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Since the service is free, this limit is effectively zero.
These terms are governed by applicable law. Disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If that fails, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the applicable courts.
